It has come to my attention that there have been several grievous errors in the handling of my accommodations since my unwilling arrival on this vessel. Given that I have essentially been kidnapped, regardless of whether or not it was an accident, I feel I am due consideration.
I am an extremely decorated scientist and doctor of medicine, and I have very important work that I must continue despite this unfortunate turn of events. In light of this, I have the following demands: 1. The return of all my research materials which have been unceremoniously stolen from me. 2. Sole access to a science laboratory. I've seen the ship layouts. There are two, and given the current crew compliment they can't possibly both be in use. 3. New lodgings suitable for a person of my status and expertise. Namely a single occupant room. I can't possibly be expected to perform to my highest potential if I'm forced to share a room.
In addition, several of your crew have been extremely rude to me and I would be pleased to receive formal apologies.
Mister Amenone, While I do understand and can appreciate your frustration, I must ask you to take into account my priorities as the captain of this ship. I am certain that errors are being made during this trying time, however given that I have essentially been invaded, regardless of whether or not it was an accident, I feel I am due consideration.
Your expertise in science and medicine is a welcome addition to my crew, however my first priority is the safety and well-being of the people aboard this ship. Therefore, until such time as you have proven your trustworthiness with what are obviously extremely dangerous substances, those items will not be returned to your personal possession. Additionally, the second science lab has been damaged and currently has no environmental controls, so unless you would like to do your work in the balmy conditions of dead space, I don't think access to the second lab is going to be feasible at the moment. Moreover, civilians are not even supposed to have access to our scientific equipment, so seeing as how you are not yet an official member of my crew, exceptions are already being made. You may do your work supervised by my science and/or security team, or not at all.
As for lodgings, many of the crew quarters have been damaged as well. At this time, we have spread you newcomers out as thinly as possible in the workable units, but all of the civilian facilities are for multiple tenants. Single occupancy rooms are reserved for ranking Starfleet officials, so if you want your own room, you are more than welcome to submit a request for one once you have made lieutenant.
If you require formal compensation for wrongdoing from any Starfleet officer, I will need you to fill out an incident report detailing the time, location, and events of the abuse. All grievance reports will be reviewed after the ship is repaired and general order has been restored. If you need something in a more timely manner, I suggest simply asking them for an apology. You will find that many of my crew are also extremely decorated and experts in their fields, so I am confident you will be able to reach some kind of understanding and mutual respect with them.
While I am temperate and measured in my reactions to such things, I note with displeasure that I have not been allowed to inspect my armaments since I awoke, let alone see to their proper maintenance. While this might be a plausible extension of your powers as captain in the case of some guests, as a ship of a power which is neither allied with or belligerent to your Federation, I find that this is in bad taste. Nor am I a warship of a belligerent power infringing on a neutral port, and even if I were, you have not given 24 hours notice before interning several of my own gunners along with my weaponry. This treatment is at odds with all laws of the sea and war, and I must request clarity as to our mutual positions. I hope to be treated as, if not an allied power's representative, at least a friendly one, and above all to avoid warlike actions.
I hope to reach a mutual accommodation if at all possible. Failing this, I will take whatever steps are necessary for the safety of my hardware and crew, as I know you will as well.

Miss Yamato, My sincere apologies for this oversight. Given the current state of the ship, not all of the staff has been thoroughly briefed on how to handle situations regarding yourself and your fellow displaced individuals. Additionally, I'm afraid I've never had a... ship aboard my ship, so I entreat your patience as we all acclimate to one another.
I will send a memo to my security staff informing them that you are permitted to inspect and perform maintenance to your personal effects as needed, provided the needs of the current operation can spare a staff member during that time. I hope you can understand that right now making sure the Illyria is safe and able to defend us or flee should the need arise must take priority for the time being. I do want you all to feel welcome and comfortable aboard my ship, I only hope we can all be understanding during this tense transitional period. If you continue to have issues with the security team once major repairs have been seen to, I will make certain to speak to them personally regarding the proper attitude toward and treatment of you and our other guests, as well as the treatment and unauthorized use of their personal items. You are to be regarded as peaceful civilians unless you specify that you wish to formally join the crew and assist in repairs, combat, or other functions, and the use of your weaponry without your permission is inexcusable. For this I am very sorry, and I will make certain the responsible parties are disciplined accordingly.
Thank you for your understanding, and please do let me know if you encounter further issues.
Sincerely, Palu Imania

Hey, Captain Palu. Cap? Do you mind if I don't call you captain? There's some negative connotations with that word for me right now. Can I call you Imania? Or Palu? Whatever you like, I'm easy.
My name is Tony Stark. I'm not wanting to beat around the bush with you, so I'm asking you for a job.
Anything. Any sort of engineering job. Hell, I'll scrub out the replicators with pipe cleaners to start, although you'd be wasting my talents to be honest. Anything at all. I've been studying what I can from the ship's computer, the sassy wench. Give me an instruction manual, forty-eight hours, and a practical test, I'll show you I know what I'm doing.
Because, let's be honest here. You wanna get home. I wanna roll around in your fancy outer space technology. We both win in this scenario.
Otherwise, I'm going to be a sad little futurist with his thumb up his butt and no outlet for his creative impulses. Which is a very, very bad combo, trust me.
Love and kisses, Tony Stark
PS: Don't listen to a word that B'Elanna says. I'm an innocent victim.
